GreenStream BV and relevant Branches have been established for the purpose of guarantee a reliable natural gas transportation from Libyan coast (Mellitah at approximately 80 KM west of Tripoli) to the Italian coast (Gela, in Sicily), physically connecting Libya and Italy through the Mediterranean Sea. MISSION

GreenStream BV and its relevant Branches were established in order to transport of the natural gas from the libyan coast (Mellitah, at approximately 80 KM west of Tripoli) to the italian coast (Gela, in Sicily), connecting physically Libya and Italy through the Mediterranean Sea. Main activities include the construction, the ownership, the management and the maintenance of its own assets and the interconnection with the operators upstream and downstream its own system.
Main assets are composed by Mellitah Gas Compression Station (MGCS), an underwater gas pipeline 510 Km long and deep down to more than 1127 m (OPL – Offshore Pipeline) and a Receiving Terminal in Gela (SRT – Sicily Receiving Terminal).
The shareholders of the Company are Eni North Africa BV (owned by Eni S.p.a.) which owns 50% and NOC (National Oil Corporation) which owns 50%.

Corporate Responsibility

The protection of health in GreenStream is guaranteed by an integrated management system, which conforms to international OHSAS regulation 18001:2007 and is based on the specific health standard in force in the countries where the company operates, as well as relevant best practices for the matter.
